Privacy policy

Vegaholic collects as little data as possible. Browsing the site requires no account, and we run no advertising networks and no cross-site tracking pixels.

Suggestions. When you submit a restaurant suggestion, we store what you typed (name, location, notes, and email if you provided one) solely to review and publish the listing. You can leave the email field blank.

Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views, plus two anonymous events: that a search was run, and that a suggestion was sent. It is cookieless and aggregated — it stores nothing on your device, gives you no persistent identifier, and cannot follow you to another site. We see totals, never individuals, and never what you searched for.

Hosting logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention, retained for a short period.

Maps. Your browser loads map tiles directly from OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address, browser information, and this site’s origin. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
