Vegan Los Angeles: Where to Eat Plant-Based
Vegan burgers in Koreatown, crunchwraps and tacos, Echo Park cafés and Sunset Boulevard menus with plenty marked vegan: here's where to eat in Los Angeles.
Burgers, a crunchwrap and Sunset Boulevard
Los Angeles has two branches each of Monty's Good Burger and Veggie Grill, plus all-vegan Vietnamese, Indian, Mexican and ramen kitchens. Sunset Boulevard carries a burger stand, a pizza spot, a Thai restaurant and a brunch café.
Burgers, tacos and fast food
Monty's Good Burger has one listing on South Western Avenue in Koreatown and another on Sunset Boulevard, both with a cheeseburger, a Deluxe Grilled Cheese, Charlie's Chicken Sandwich, The Impossible Davey Dog and Dog Pile Fries. Cena Vegan has several locations and serves a Crunchwrap, a Burrito Extreme, a Crunchy Taco Trio and a Four Taco Plate.
Veggie Grill has a branch on Fairfax Avenue and another on Westwood Plaza. The Vegan Joint on National Boulevard and Ramen Hood on South Broadway are also fully vegan.
Echo Park and Sunset Boulevard
Glowing Plant-Based Eatery on Echo Park Avenue is a fully vegan café with a Chickpea Tuna, a Game Day BLT, an Italiano Vegano and a GF Sausage Egg. Green Leaves Vegan on Hillhurst Avenue is a fully vegan Thai kitchen that also cooks breakfast: the Bacon Burrito and two scrambles, the Golden Cheeze and Popeye's.
Along Sunset Boulevard, Masa of Echo Park has Vegan Mozzarella Sticks, Vegan Jalapeno Egg Rolls and a Vegan Sunset Antipasto Pizza Insalata, and is closed Mondays. Sticky Rice has Thai dishes that can be made vegan, such as Khao Soi and Pad See-Ew, and Millie's Cafe serves The Vegan Mess and a V-Cali Benedict. Trejo's Coffee and Donuts on Santa Monica Boulevard has a Vegan O.G. and a Machete Maple donut.
Vietnamese, Indian and Mediterranean
Âu Lạc is a fully vegan Vietnamese restaurant, and Cali Saga on Venice Boulevard is fully vegan Indian with delivery and outdoor seating. Checker Hall on Avenue 56 has a Mezze Plate, a Falafel Pita and baba ghanoush, and Spitz - Eagle Rock on Colorado Boulevard offers a Vegan Gyro and a Vegan Doner Basket.
Diners and raw food
Doomie's Home Cookin' on Fountain Avenue serves NextMex Taquitos, Buffalo Legs, Mash & Gravy and the NextMex Burrito, and Follow Your Heart Cafe on Sherman Way has a Tofu Benedict and The Om-Lette. Wild Living Foods on South Main Street offers a Lox Bagel, Jalapeno Poppers and Warm Chia Pudding.
